TechED & MENTORING
Berlin had something that -unexpectedly- made me bring all my former experiences together: community engagement, culture, education, mentoring, communication, management, technology, planning, solutions design, and so much more. This is how I became a Program Manager in TechED and the continued as a volunteer mentor.
Becoming a Program Manager
In the end of 2021 I moved to Berlin without a clear understanding of how my professional life would transform. By that time, I had already redirected my career path (through a lot of training!) into the tech world as a Product Manager with the certainty that my artistic and cultural background would help me develop my personal managing style.
By early 2022 all my former working experiences: community engagement, culture, education, mentoring, communication, management, technology, planning, solutions design, and so much more came together to open this new path in techED and Career development.
The first stop in this journey was at Ironhack GmbH as Program Manger where I supported all 5 teaching teams and over 500 career changers from the most diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.
The next stop was at SPICED Academy / neue fische GmbH where I became Head of Program Management and Career Development until 2025, leading a team of 8 outstanding professionals who ensured an excellent learning experience to the student community enabling them to transform their lives by developing skills to launch their new career opportunities.
How this experience changed me...
After deciding it was time to find new horizons in my career journey, I understood social impact is not something I could just switch off so I decided to continue delivering mentoring and career advice as a volunteer for different organizations and communities: Hack your Future -a tech school for talents with refugee status in Amsterdam; TAP, a career accelerator for young talents in MENA and free mentoring sessions for everyone on ADP List.
